KATAMARI VILLAGE SHOPS - #2 Karaoke Buildings (a Japanese business)

This is #2 from my set of shops to accompany my set of homes inspired by the little thumbnail pictures of the buildings collected in "We Love Katamari," the second Katamari Damacy game. In that collection each shop had a blurb about it (in this case 4 separate ones for each karaoke box), which I've added below.

This business has been made with the intention of being owned, but it works pretty well for visiting also. It's run by using the ticket machine and customers will go to the bar, if being tended, use the mini-fridges, if they get hungry, and sing their tone-deaf heads off on the karaoke machines.

This lot was made to look like it connects to the "Small Store" found here. After placing the lot, the game goes back to the default of floor tiles for the first two rows, so the fake street won't look as connected to the main street as it does in the pictures. This can be easily redone, if you wish, by using 'moveobjects on' and placing the street tiles back.


2-Karaoke Buildings

Ka - This box is packed to the gills with people who think they can sing.
Ra - Late-night concerts are held here daily.
O - This noisy building is full of people young and old shouting at the top of their lungs.
Ke - Even though there are lots of these, they're always busy.


IMPORTANT NOTE

- Some items didn't package with the lot, such as a few from "SimPeople and Me," (a site that is now gone, but have kindly allowed item sharing) so I have added a separate file of some additional CC. Put these in your downloads folder for the lot to resemble the pictures. Basically, download both files.
