THANK YOU! I love getting new careers, I hardly ever let my sims work at a Maxis career anymore, so please make all of them. Oh, and Bravo! or Brava, as the case may be, on the History Major. Ancient Warfare, how very interesting, and since you love writing, I'd say you try your hand at Romance novels, as the hero is always a great warrior.

Good pay rates (so many careers have inflated salaries), but the hours for a few of the levels are kind of short. This is balanced by the long hours at some other levels, though, so it's not really a problem. One thing I would have done, however, is end more of the jobs at 3:00 p.m. (1500) rather than an hour later. This would allow the worker to get home when the elementary school children got home, so a nanny wouldn't have to be hired for one lousy hour.

This is a fantastic career idea and so far I'm loving the skill building necessary and the pay levels. The only thing I *have* noticed is that when my Sim gets a promotion (I believe this started with the third promotion and he's currently at Documentary Host) I haven't seen any promotional messages, nor does he get a bonus or get paid the day he gets promoted. Pay resumes as it should with the next working day. I'm still wrestling my way through the various career FAQs so I have no idea what could be causing it, but hopefully you'll have a notion. Currently I've got TS2, Nightlife and Uni installed, if that helps. Thanks again:D

That was happening when I first tested the career myself - and I played through the career all the way many, many times lol. I thought I fixed that and it hasn't happened in my game recently ... I've no idea what causes it either, but if someone could tell me I'd be glad to know what specifically to fix in the file. I just got the new version of SimPE also and I'm almost done with my Voodoo Career (look for that soon!) so I think I'll go over this career again and try to fiddle with it. Sorry about it and I hope I can update it soon!
