At last, was so sick and tired of my vampire eating mortal food, now he can drink blood and not turn the entire neighborhood into a town of vamps, possibly one of the best vampire inspired mods I have downloaded to date, great job.

Cool idea, unfortunately for me, it doesn't work in my game.

I have up to Seasons, but downloaded both, because the download directions said I had to (though I haven't got AL..?) but when I'd open my game, an error constantly came up, so I had to take it out. :o(

Bedtime Bear: Don't use the AL one if you don't have AL. The instructions say that you need both .package files that are inside the Fridge rar file. So just get the fridge one, and make sure you install both .package files for the Fridge version (bottles and case) - NOT the AL version.

Yanno, HBO has made an actual TruBlood soft drink for all of us human fans, so even without vampy sims, this still makes a great treat!!
I've purchased a bottle to try, and it's better than most energy drinks (although kinda expensive) It kept me up all night while I watched Season 2 on DVD that I borrowed from a friend, very fitting! So yea, don't feel obligated to restrict this to vampy sims only. :D

Also, can anyone confirm the fridge version as working for EPs up to Seasons only? BV, FT, and AL are still outta my budget range. So sad!

I have no idea. . . o.o

Thanks for trying to help! Alas, it didn't. :o(

I went in and only downloaded the fridge one..but today, now that I've put it back in, I got the same error upon entering the town. I don't understand modding "stuff", but the error said (among other things) #918
Error: Invalid constant

But it was a cool idea and I'm glad others have had more luck than I have! :o/

This reminds me of the Finding Nemo thing, only in Simmish-vamp form:
"Humans are friends, not food"
Lolz.
Thanks for this, BTW

Wow. This is great since I play Vampires all the time. There was an error that Bedtime Bear brought up, but it was surprisingly easy to fix.

Thanks a bunch!

Could you tell us how you fixed it, please?

I probably should've done that in the first place lol.

I opened the TruBloodBottles-FromFridge package in SimPE and took a look at the offending BHAV (Function - Init - Menu) started going over lines that referenced constants. Line 0xB referenced Hotels, which is why it errored on a game without BV. Simply deleting the line with Pescado's Delete and changing to previous line to Return True fixed the problem.

The line is probably needed for games that have BV, so if you know how to add check for BV then that would probably be better than my fix, but I haven't had any problems with mine in Base-Seasons.

Sacred Nym: Ah, interesting! Well it's an easy fix for you, perhaps, but not for someone like myself who goes cross-eyed when staring at BHAVs. Thanks for the info though. It's very helpful. Would you be willing to share your non-BV version so other folks can use it too? If you could upload a rar/zip file to modyourpanties.com and PM me the link, I could add the file to this thread.... with instructions to use it in non-BV games, and credit to you of course!

Update: Thanks to Sacred Nym, we now have a version of the fridge bottles that should work without BV. Please download the new "nonBV" file if you do NOT have Bon Voyage. Thanks, Sacred Nym!

July 1, 2012 Update
There is a NEW version of these beverages available on tumblr. The new bottles are a bit less shiny and the texture has a touch more highlighting to compensate. Functionality remains the same. Have a look at the pics on tumblr, then download whichever version you prefer. There is also a decorative version in the same tumblr post.
