I dunno about you cats, but when I was a kid, we never wore great baggy trousers, presumably for fear of shredding them on a fence; and since I was a wee little tomboy, that pretty much left me with shorts or leggings. Sim girls just don't look right without their wrinkly little leggings, and it is with that in mind that I have made this humble, yet versatile, addition to their wardrobes.
These leggings come in two styles - a rather jaunty pedal pusher style, which ends just below the knee; and a more traditional longer style, which is about an inch too short to be labelled as ankle-swingers (also a bit too, well, un-swingy).
These are available for girls - children, that is - in everyday, formal, and athletic. They have custom thumbnails, which may I just say are awesome; and are available in three designs, which you can see here.
There are three recolourable channels, on both designs - the main part of the leggings, the waistband, and the "cuffs" of the legs.
There is one known issue, and I'm afraid it's something I can't do anything about. For reasons unknown, the long leggings have an odd line up the right ankle if you zoom out far enough - this seems to be an issue with the mapping of the EA nude mesh (lod1, if you know what that means). I do apologise, but hopefully it won't be too much of an annoyance in gameplay. The issue can be seen on the ankle closest to the camera here:
If you want these for adults, don't ask me to convert them. Instead, I recommend Anubis360's H&M Leggings, found as part of the Jessica Bubble Dress.

Remesh, rehash, retexture, reconstitute, include, add pineapple - do as you like, just keep it free and give me credit, with a link to this thread or to my profile.
Additional Credits:
Delphy and jonha, for CTU; Faylen, for her excellent tutorial on folds and shadows, which I read years ago and have only now put into practise; and Emhpb and jynx, for feedback, advice, and gender bendering.

Install Instructions
Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.
For Package files:
1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
For Sims3Pack files:
1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
