CSI Career

Greetings!

So, up for your downloading pleasure is my CSI career. I actually started this for myself, but I got to thinking, maybe others would enjoy this career as well. So here ya go!

I am in no way a CSI, I did start to study it a few years back, but that was all. The majroity of my info. came from Google. The CSI levels 1,2, and 3, all came from the show. Because I don't actually think they work in levels in real life.

This career should not write over any original Maxis careers since it has it's own guid number. I have all EP's and stuff packs minus Holiday Fun. But this career should still work for you since I used a base game career to clone it from.

If you find anything that needs to be fixed (ie grammar, spelling, etc.) let me know, and I will do my best to fix it.

Details

1) Crime Scene Cleanup
Hours: 8am-6pm
Pay: $300
Work Days: W-Th-F-Sa-S
You may not be a CSI yet, but you're on the scene cleaning up what others can't and won't. Cleaning up blood and brain matter may not be the most glamorous of jobs, but someone has to do it. Try to keep a level head and an empty stomach.


2) Lab Gofer
Hours: 11am-8pm
Pay: $375
Work Days: M-Tu-W-Th-S
You're the new guy in a white coat, and they won't let you forget it! Still wet behind the ears and still in training, minimal tasks are left up to you. Not to mention getting the team their lunch and making coffee runs. Don't worry, a new gofer will come along soon enough.


3) Lab Technician Level 1
Hours: 8am-3pm
Pay: $450
Work Days: M-Tu-Th-F-S
You're the lab's rat, literally. Getting stuck with all the nasty specimens. Your past experience as a crime scene cleanup tech. comes in handy since you also have to play lab janitor too.


4) Lab Technician Level 2
Hours: 8am-4pm
Pay: $510
Work Days: M-Tu-W-Th-S
Finally, you have arrived! Testing all the hallmarks of DNA, blood samples, semen samples and the like are all are at your fingertips. The foundations of a solid criminal case lay at your feet. Eyes sharp and mind quick. At this level you can't afford to make a mistake!


5) Latent Print Technician
Hours: 9am-3pm
Pay: $650
Work Days: M-Tu-W-Th-F
Is that a arch, a loop, or a swirl pattern? Did Bob Newbie shoot the gun that Kill Betty? Your trained eyes can tell the difference. Lifting prints and comparing them is your specialty. With a blink of an eye you know if a suspect was at the scene of a crime with just one finger print.


6) Forensic Photographer
Hours: 10am-7pm
Pay: $750
Work Days: M-Tu-W-Th-F
It's now your duty to capture a crime scene in it's entirety before the area is released for cleaning. Snap and click! You're the police's shutter bug. Make sure to capture even the smallest piece of evidence on film.


7) CSI Level 1
Hours: 1pm-1am
Pay: $915
Work Days: Tu-W-F-Sa-S
You're in the big time now. With all that training behind you and under your belt. You're in the field collecting evidence, gathering prints, and interview witnesses. Stay alert because you don't want to miss a beat!


8) CSI Level 2
Hours: 8pm-6am
Pay: $1036
Work Days: M-Th-F-Sa-S
Viewing bodies at the scene has prepared you for this. The pathologist calls you to witness the autopsies and to document it on film. And don't forget to collect that all important evidence as well.


9) CSI Level 3
Hours: 7am-11am
Pay: $1505
Work Days: M-Tu-Th-S
You are now King or Queen of the lab. All CSI now bow at your feet! Well, no, they don't, but they do report to you. You are the Supervisor. All cases stop on your desk. You are responsible for sending the best and brightest out to collect the evidence and help solve crimes.


10) Undersheriff
Hours: 1pm-5pm
Pay: $2325
Work Days: Tu-W-Th-Sa
You've finally made it! After years of hard work and knee deep in dead bodies and fly larva, you are safe behind your shield... for the most part Sure, you'll miss the work of a CSI, in the field collecting evidence. But you've earned your position undersheriff. You serve warrants and make sure there are enough cops to cover your CSI's backs. Sit back and enjoy the ride.


There are chance cards for all levels except for the final three. I went blank on them. I do plan on making some for them, and when I do I will update the career.

You may notice that some of the career levels have long hours. I figured that they would since they, as CSI, would be out in the field collecting evidence and the like, which means longer hours.

Crime scene clean up, and the CSI levels all get picked up in the mini van. If I can figure out how to attach custom cars then I will make a CSI unit to pick them up instead.

The career reward is the fingerprint kit. So nothing new there. The career also has it's own custom icon! I hope you enjoy this career, and happy downloading!
