Hey folks,
if you have a really bad graphics card, like me, and you can't use shaders, then you know that the pool water looks like crap (just plain blue).
Now, I've found a solution!! I have edited the corresponding MATSHAD shader file within Materials.package and now my pool water looks way better. It's not the high end water surface but it looks better as normal and now it also has nice little waves on it.
Compatibility:
I marked Seasons as requirement because Maxis messed up the pool shaders with EP5 and never fixed it any later EP, so if you have ANY expansion above (incl.) Seasons you might want to use this.
You shouldn't have any issues if your latest EP is Pets or lower so you won't need this!
I hope I can help some people (again) with this file who have the same issues with the pool water as I had!!
