Alphonse Mucha 1860-1930 was born in Morovia(now Czechoslovakia), but became famous in Paris of the 1890's as an illustrator and artist in Art Nouveau style. For six years he designed the sets, costumes and posters for Sarah Bernhardt's shows. These tiles feature some of Mucha's illustrations, which have been adaped to make handsome Art Nouveau tiles. I hope you like them.
