"I Like It Rough" Stucco Walls

This is something I've wanted...oh, forever. Because my philosopy when it comes to stucco is that if you can rub bare skin against it and it doesn't hurt, then it ain't stucco. And Maxis's "stucco" textures, held up to that definition, ain't stucco. Nor have I ever found any custom stuccos that fit my overly picky bill. So I finally got around to making a set of my own stucco walls. Mostly because I finally found a texture to use. Unfortunately, finding it meant getting a camera up close and personal with the exterior wall of a local health food store, thus garnering more than a few odd looks from passersby. Ah, the things I do for my "art!" But it was worth it because I finally get something I've wanted but haven't been able to find. YAY!
So, after putting groceries away, texture giddily in hand...or in camera, as it were...off I trotted to Photoshop to fix the image and make it tile properly and then dump a billion-and-one colors on it. Well, OK, not a billion-and-one. "Only" sixty-five. Many of them are close in color, which is deliberate on my part, for my own purposes. So, you might want to pick and choose amongst them. Or not. Whatever. Anyway, here's the texture on a house by Plasticbox:
(If you're interested, that color is Lonestar.)
And then here are all the colors, in two collages instead of one because one pic would be enormous:
The above collages were made from in-game pics taken on an outside, sunny-side wall, fairly close-up to show texture detail.
These cost $7, same as the game's Southwest Stuccos, the closest the game gets to what I consider a "real" stucco texture. They'll all be found in the "Poured" subcategory of the Wall Coverings category. All files have been Compressorized for your safety and comfort and all have been clearly renamed to facilitate getting rid of colors you don't like/want/need. There's also copies of the above collages in the zip file, to further help with weeding. It makes the download file a lot bigger than it needs to be, but...Hey, you can get rid of the pics when you're done weeding.
Now go have some fun. Because, you know, if it isn't rough it isn't fun.
