FALU RED SIDING CREATED BY ME - INCLUDED

Note: I didn't want this to require Celebration, but since this was built in Double Deluxe it seems like I must have used a Celebration item even if I tried my hardest no to. I've tried double checking everything, but can't for the life of me figure out what Celebration items I may have used.

A Swedish mansion for your neighborhood. Why is it red, you may ask? Because most traditional Swedish houses are red. It's a very particular kind of red called Falu red, using pigment from the old copper mine of Falun in Sweden. Why does it have that weird, split hipped roof, you may ask? Because that is just how we roll. It's called Sateri roof, and you'll find it on lots of old, fancy houses and buildings here in Sweden. I didn't model this after any specific, already existing mansion. I just started building and went from there.



Seeing as there was no red siding of the right shade in the game, and seeing as I didn't want you to have to hunt them down yourself elsewhere, I made my own Falu red siding. A complete Falu red siding set will be uploaded separately at a later date if anyone is interested.



A driveway could be added either to the far right, or the far left of the lot by knocking down the hedge and removing a couple of trees (and using the "moveObjects on" cheat, I think), but I decided to go without. Your wealthy Sims can afford to splurge on taxis.
