I believe you just need to drop the files in your mods folder.
This mod has already been featured on the November 12, 2014 episode of The Young Turks! They showed a screenshot of a Sim my wife made, wearing the TYT superhero shirt. If you download it, and use it for your Sim, please take a screenshot and upload it to the discussion board! I'll pass them along to TYT, and you might see your Sim on the show!
I uploaded a TYT file, a TYT Detroit file, and a file containing both sets together.
