With the rather dramatic change in both scripting and some tuning in the crystal patch, I am concerned to use any mods that have not been verified safe to use. The tried and true "working in my game" is now a questionable way to do things, because of group instances where just one mod not being updated can break all mods in the mods folder. So, can anyone verify that this is safe to use since the crystal patch? I really do not want to go back to spoiled food in the game. EDIT: Since I got no answer here, I looked around and King Zace has a mod called No Spoils which is being supported, and has been verified still good for the crystal patch and both emergency patches after that.

The food might not be spoiling in your game, but that does not mean that the tuning or scripting is compatible with the patch. Unless you know coding and can verify the compatibility, you are taking a risk with having other mods being negatively affected. The changes made by EA to the code this time means that some mod incompatibilities are global, so that even one "bad" mod that is not updated will negatively impact all the other mods in your game. It really is best now to keep only the mods that have long been and are still being supported.

Unless someone who knows the coding can tell us this mod is actually compatible on a coding level ... which is what I asked, but there has not been an answer on that, specifically.

Due to changes made by EA, you're right! I'm not a coder but do know a bit and also create stuff for my game. All I can say is, that so far, I have no issues with it or anything else. I have already updated my mods that I have in game, even some cc. And to tell you the truth, I recently play with the thought of just deleting everything! I'm so tired and also so sorry for every single modder/creator out there. I'm not sure why EA made such a horrible change known that it will affect most everything that has ever been created for this buggy game. That move right there tells you that EA just don't give a f* and care less for the players. Sure I know that downloads are not supported, still they do know that people use it and even showcase some of the cutsom creations on Twitter and elsewhere. But all they really care fore is cash grabbing. This move right there is another reason for me to stop buying anything else ever again!
