**Black Market Bargains**

The new acquisition from Black Market Bargains comes to you straight from a seedy little basement art studio just outside Lyon. In the interest of protecting my forger I hope you will understand why I don't reveal more. This painting again comes with it's own frame and is a faithful representation of James McNeill Whistler's iconic 1871 painting called Arrangement in Grey and Black No. 1, more colloquially called "Whistler's Mother."

Description from in-game

A very well respected, though often parodied, painting by American Tonalism founder James Abbott Whistler. Whistler eschewed sentimentality and hidden moral statements in his paintings and was a proponent of "art for art's sake" so it is unlikely he intended this as the icon of motherhood it has become. Having been featured in movies, television shows, books, cartoons, and even advertisements this painting has entrenched itself in popular culture. What this painting may or may not be beneath it's surface, it is certainly an enduring legacy of the American Gilded Age.

This is a recolor of a base-game painting and, as such, is base game compatible and is low-poly. The painting has been distorted somewhat as it is very difficult to locate a painting in the catalog with the exact dimensions necessary to keep the proportions identical.
