Aussie soap fans of a certain age will recognise this hangout from Home and Away, which was originally run by Bobby Simpson and Ailsa Stewart. The diner became a popular attraction for locals and tourists until 2000 when it burnt down due to a chip pan fire (the new diner just isn't the same). Though it went through a refurb or two in later years, it's featured here in all its original 80s glory.


The trees have been removed for this preview to give you a better
front view of the building, though they are included in the saved lot.

Now with added Surf Club!
The previously empty unit next door was briefly used as a Youth Centre in early-to-mid 1989, but I have now added Summer Bay's second-most popular hangout - the Surf Club! Since the two were never part of the same building in the show, screen accuracy for the Surf Club went out the window. I decided to go for something more original that (hopefully) captures the feel of the many looks the Surf Club had over the years.

The Surf Club is open to all, though there is a 'club' door to the rear for you to create an actual 'Surf Club' to gather there.

Placing This Lot
All my TS4 lots are created with bb.moveobjects, bb.showhiddenobjects and bb.showliveeditobjects turned on. To ensure all objects show up as intended, I would recommend loading the lot from Build Mode with these cheats already enabled.
