Mispillion Lighthouse - CC Free Shell

The Mispillion Lighthouse played a big role in my early childhood. My dad would often hang out at and explore the old structure, and promised to let me explore it with him when I got older. He'd sometimes take me to see it from the outside when the weather was nice, and at one point he found a black Labrador Retriever abandoned at the top of the tower after a bad storm, who we adopted.

I never got a chance to explore the lighthouse, as it caught fire in 2001/2002 after spending years sitting abandoned. The fire destroyed the top of the tower, but left most of the house intact. The remains of the house were sold and rebuilt into a gorgeous house at Shipcarpenter Square in Lewes, Delaware.


My recreation is nothing extravagant or exact. It's simply the shell of the house in the same color scheme I knew as a kid, although I believe the original colors were white and black or brown. The layout of my recreation may not be accurate because I cannot find any floor plans, nor was I ever able to see the inside. I had intended to use this house for a rags to riches style gameplay where the family renovates this and other more rundown houses I built.

This version is slightly different from the one you will find on the gallery, having an updated roof.
