Recently I've seen my textures on a different pants mesh than I'm using somewhere in the internet. The textures weren't used with my permission because it seems my policies need to be ignored.

I've never seen such a cheap and incompetent work before. This thief didn't even adjust the textures to the new mesh. He just replaced the texture files and now the pants are pretty messed up here and there but he's using them for his pictures anyway.

People are really getting lazy (stealing textures, no asking for permission, no texture adjustments) and pretty disgraceful (you should have seen those pants).

If you really want something good, do it on your own and read the policies first.

This is why I stopped making much of anything for The Sims 2. Thieves are everywhere and no matter how many different ways I told people not to use this or that without permission it just didn't matter to them. Hats off to you Randir. I love your work and have just about everything you've done. I've changed nothing and never plan to.

I haven't reported it because I had no idea MTS is bolstering us up in that cases.
Anyway I haven't seen this "creation" available for downloading anywhere so it has been used only for private use I guess without focusing on those pants on that single picture.

Have you reported this to a modthesims moderator? If they find that the texture was stolen, they will pursue it with the website owner.
