I participated in "Fix it or Flip it" contest. Thanks sweet CatherineTCJD for hosting. Those was my first contest experience hence I got my first badge. This was a point where I realised that my houses turned not that good like I expected. First had not playtested, second has been, but having route traps, third had never existed. I shared edited versions of those which are looking trustworthy but still I have low number of downloads which is a mark of low graditude.

I found a lot (mostly mean) about myself during that contest: that I can't build good enough in a short time given, that I don't quite understand quality measures, I don't quite get prompts given, I miss lines in letters...

I am sorry to make such a bad submissions.

I love houses of other participants. I'll be honest: my favourites were not judges'. MichaelHouses got the lowest above me scores, but I see they have really high download count after share it, thus might be a way to compensate scores. And Justpetro who performed mediocre but same as Michael, found Audience Choises Award with their Downtown Crack house Unckracked in Downloads.

The last round happened when my aunt was found dead at her property. Such death like a human went to toilet and never came back to me looks faulty. I had so many extra thoughts running in my head circles: like we all will dead someday, but not that way, that no one is safe and now came up to one that we still should live the life that happens, and fix it or flip it to do it better, same way as with houses.

i don’t think you should apologize for entering; contests are rough and the feedback can mess with your head, especially when english isn’t your first language. downloads don’t really measure the effort or the ideas, and a lot of people quietly enjoy lots without clicking anything. i’m sorry about your aunt, that’s a horrible shock to carry while trying to be creative. also, the spammy comment above reminded me of the junk links people drop everywhere; i’ve had to report stuff that pointed to https://megawheelonline.org/ and https://extreme-lightning-roulette.com/ and https://dealornodeal.org/ when i was just trying to read build threads. keep building at your own pace, playtest when you can, and don’t let one contest define your skills.

Hey, a colleague showed me this when I was looking for a way to store Instagram videos for reference during work breaks. I didn’t expect much, but I tested it immediately. The page download videos from instagram opened fast and let me paste links without confusion. I mainly use it for saving customer-shared clips and product mentions so I can review them later. It helped me avoid saving random files directly to my phone, which used to get messy. Now I just keep everything organized and return to it when needed for ideas or repost planning.

You had some great ideas I thought! I thought the standards in this contest were very tricky to achieve, and in my play-along lot I found it very difficult because (if there were no rules) I would have liked to have done things very differently! Well done for entering, I think that English is not your first language, so I am very impressed that you can even take part in this website (I really struggle to translate websites in other languages, and would not be brave enough to post in a non-native language). Please don't be put off, I think your submissions were good and scores are after all just an opinion. Other judges would have different opinions!
