I'm still here - somewhat

I wasn't going to use this feature, because I don't have much to say, and I don't know who much would want to listen to me anyway, but oh well.

So, I haven't posted anything in ages. I was pretty involved with the Mod Squad, and I think I came out with some good stuff there, but I haven't been meshing much in general. I'm just not motivated as much as I used to be. Used to be, I spent almost all my time just thinking up new meshes to create. That's what I was into then, and I was in a frenzy over it. This led to a lot of stuff meshes, some good, some not so much. It led to new friends, new skills, a new place to hang out, and a fair amount of pride in my work.

Then I got sidetracked. I know, I know, bad me. I'm just one of those people who lacks the ability to work seriously on two major projects at once. I'm talking about projects besides school, work, family, and all that other real life stuff. I've started writing again, and I'm working on something that I'm really excited about. Unfortunately, it is not in any way related to the sims. So when it comes down to meshing projects or the writing project, the writing's winning right now. This isn't to say I'll never mesh again. I still have lots of ideas. But it's probably going to be a while before I'm fully recharged and able to focus on meshing again.

But yeah. That was just a heads-up in case anyone noticed that I'd more or less disappeared. I still come here a lot though, so I'll be around. I just won't be as visible.

On a completely unrelated note (yay short attention spans!) I'm thinking I might have to develop the character of General Zoi, as seen in my avatar, some more. You know, give her a full name and all that. I wonder if Zoi would be a better first or last name? It's probably a nickname, at any rate. I mention this because she shall soon probably be another venue I develop my writing skills on. 'Cause who doesn't want to read a story about a one-eyed zombie Army officer? I'm taking suggestions on the name thing, by the way.
