Eclipse [FloréalFall] Hair
It will be both genders + All Ages + Animated.
The Polycount is stupid. It's too high.. but I don't want to reduce it. At this point I've spent WAAAAAAAAY too long on this hair.
I promise my next hair will be a less polys.
It's about 7000 faces... 4500-5000 verts.
Yikes.
The textures are not done (headband needs a texture, as it's only a plain black blob right now).

I scrapped my first hair and started fresh.
It's much better now, but no pictures of the hair yet.
However, I AM done his face/skintone/ etc..
I think that if you can pull off making a character look like a character without adding hair or clothes yet, you did a good job. ^^

I'm happy with how he looks right now, even unfinished in the hair/outfit respect. I touched his face mesh up via MS3D and created new genetics with a custom CAS. So he's got a fully unique face and genetics. (I had to seeing as Bodyshop could not get the nose and mouth just right on their own).
I did up his braces too. XD







Rofl.. he's so disgustingly Ash...

I've recently done some more Custom Content and was thinking of starting my own little site.
Right now I'm posting uploads and Legacy stuff on my sims 2 LiveJournal community.

My uploads will be shared there temporarily until I get around to creating the site.... I create my webpages with only notepad, so it's rather time consuming.

I've done a Skintone set that can be downloaded at my community that can be found by following the banner link at the bottom of this post. I'll probably share it at some point here with MTS2, but I'd like to add one more colour and create a few child friendly "barbie" skin edits first.

Ha HA! I did something. IT TOOK FOREVER.
Okay. This is still in early stages!
I still need to tweak the mesh.. I want it a little rounder and fluffier in areas. The back of the hair is too square...
I need to create new textures. (Textures seen were only applied for mapping and testing purposes... seeing as the headband is a black MASS of no detail...)
I need to add animations.
We don't need the nasty "hair helmet".
I need to edit the alphas a bit...

I think that's it. I need to do my age conversions after, but that's easy.

Ash is blond. Not brunette... stating the obvious.



The Sim looks like Ash sorta.. but I only tweeked the facial structure. I need to make him a new skintone and eyes and make-up ect. He should look good when done.

I'm just glad I did *SOMETHING*.

I want to do a Sim of Venom from "Guilty Gear" at some point... I heart him.
(Yea.. I'm on a fighting game character kick.) ^^;

The picture is quite old. I won't get into details, but as of recent, I have not been drawing much at all.

I posted this question on another forum, but I decided to stick it in my new little MTS2 journal. I hope people read and comment. I would love feedback.

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in the not-so-pretty "Prettyboy", Ash Crimson, from the "King of Fighters" game series.

I've taken a strong liking to this character for simply his originality, plus the fact that I love most femme boys, provided they sport an interesting personality. He does his hair in a 60's bouffant, has freckles, wears braces, and is obsessed with his fingernails and Nail Art.

What isn't loveably abnormal to see on a bishounen in that description?

My big question is basically, would anyone actually use him in their game?
Any KoF players that would love to have annoying little Ash running around in their sim world?
Let me know and it may encourage me to finish him faster!




Also, Would anyone actually USE the bouffant hair on any of their male sims if it was NOT Ash Crimson?

I learned how to do my toddler conversions. ^^

I was told on the other forum that people would enjoy the hair for women too. Please give me some input on this as well. I'll see if I can do a conversion after the initial male version is complete!

For his outfit, I'm going to try my hand at creating a mesh with bumpmapping and shiny texturing enabled. (So shiny zippers on his clothing). It will be a trial, but I want to see how lovely I can make him.

I have created lovely Rosabelle as a sweet and modest sim to counter his tom cat lover Zerase. Rosabelle and Zerase live together but are not married or engaged to satisfy Zerase's romance sim needs.

Rosa plays the role of "submissive Housewife" while Zerase flirts with anything pretty and male that walks by... it seems sad, but Rosabelle is understanding of Zerase's needs and is comfortable with the role he plays... afterall, Rosabelle was well aware of Zerase's personality long before making his decision to devote himself to him.

Zerase owns his own business. A restaurant/bar with the rather cliche name "Sinfully Sweet". Zerase only hires pretty male sims to work for him and forces them to dress in very revealing lolita outfits during their shifts.

(The Open for business EP is quite amusing).
