Inspired by the prosperity challenge on S2C, I've created a neighbourhood and will be chronicling my sims as they do their wacky sim thing.

I just wanted to let people know that I have all the files for my uploads safely on my computer. I have a lot on my plate right now, but I'll fix my threads as I have time. So, please don't trouble yourself to upload any lots of mine that you have.

A couple of days ago I installed Uni, NL, OFB, Pets and Seasons. Since then, I've been going wild... it's been a while since I've been this absorbed in my Sim games! I don't think I'm going to be uploading any more lots soon... I'm still figuring out how to build to accomodate the new features of the game, and I've yet to try starting up in the base game. Although I did make allowances for that before I installed the EPs. (I'm on a mac).

Back to simming!

I never thought I'd use the journal option on MTS2, but I am. I've kept a number of blogs for years, but recently my posts have petered off. I don't think I'll blog here though; that doesn't seem appropriate. I'm not sure the MTS2 community would be interested in the minutiae of my everyday life.

I've lately started creating a lot of lots (no pun intended) for uploading. I know some may use the same lots of uploading and playing in, and it's always been my intention to use the lots I upload in my own game, but somehow it's never happened. I always build my Sim families brand new custom houses. Some of them turn out pretty well and I wish I could upload them, but I couldn't evict my Sims, and besides, I don't want to upload second-hand houses. :P

I upload lots that are lavishly decorated with all sorts of little knick-knacks, but my own Sims live in rather threadbare houses. There's usually hardly any landscaping, and each bedroom is only as big as is needed to hold a bed. I buy them lots and lots of skill objects and very little in the way of entertainment. Who needs a TV when my Sims have so much fun playing the piano!

Today I'm going out for Indian food with my boyfriend and his mom. It will be... delicious.
