Hi @Sokisims ! Posting just to say that I rather enjoy what you've done here with your 'hoods and it's always great to see them get expanded upon. Keep at it!

Previously known as HarVee. Just call me Yin from now on.

I have all the memories of the new relatives from both neighborhoods practically ready. I just have to check a little to see if I have left something out xD. I also have to take care of the memories of the townies and some jso characters. I also wanted to review the JSO houses a little more and I was thinking of trying to replace a repeat house with another better lot, but I am having a hard time since the JSO architecture has a simple stye in which not everything looks good, if anyone has Any suggestions XD... In a while I'll upload my progress so far. Let's say that both neighborhoods are at 90% but that remaining 10% requires work and concentration. I am also in a dilemma thinking about who could be Disgustia's father, since I have two different candidates, I also don't know whether to give Julius Bionda and Aretha a family or leave them as they are. xd

I've been playing around in the updated Service Area and I just wanted to let you know I really appreciate the effort you've put into it! The houses turned out great and the updated family trees are cool. I am really looking forward to the finished result )

I played the first version of JSO years ago, but fell out of the Sims 2 shortly afterwards, so I didn't have time to figure out the clone plot entirely. Recently got back into it, and saw a nice playthrough of Service Area on youtube, so I'm very excited for the new versions to come out so I can jump back into playing myself. From the videos, your lots are extremely nice, but I am worried that they're too big for the dreaded pink soup and I don't want to wait months to get a new computer, so the fact you're accounting for this fact for the new versions is very much appreciated!

Is Aberon Garden still planned to release too?

I want to install sims 2 only cos I want to play your hoods again don't know tho if I have to wait for ea to fix legacy edition or use ultimate with all the fixes
And I feel your pain about sims 3( I spent several months to install mods, fix conflicts and download cc...just to find out that game is unplayable with all these script mods I want to have in my game...

I think that in a few more sessions it will be publishable. ^^

I am so sorry I missed your tag back in September. I've even been on MTS for Sims 4 mods and it didn't show up in my notifications. I just picked up where I left off with my Service Area/JSO combined hood, came back to this thread to see how you're doing and saw you tagged me.

If you still need a play-tester, I'm happy to take a look. Since I'm playing all the households I've got all their info organized in a notes app, so I think I've got a handle on their stories and who's related to who.

Also, thank you so much for the screenshots here!! After working through all the Service Area families, I'm about halfway through the JSO families (I play each household for one season and then move on to the next) and the family screenshots are filling in some of the blanks I was wondering about. I love love LOVE their interwoven stories and as I play, I'm developing more of how I want their stories to continue. You are so amazingly talented and I can't thank you enough for sharing that talent with all of us.

@DellaLuna Don't worry, I assumed you hadn't seen it or were waiting for the update. xD I am still grateful and surprised that after so much time since I started this project you and the people are still interested. Thank you very much for offering to try the new version! And thanks again for you lovely words ^^. I've added so much that it's likely I've forgotten something. Your notes can be very useful to rescue things from old lore that I may have forgotten!! Pass it to me! XD Also for having new ideas.

It is likely that in a few days I will upload a Service Area test. The last thing I did was add the memories of the deaths of the new ancestors. xD Things are already quite advanced. I also have to review the new family relationships very carefully.

You're so welcome and yes, when you upload it I'll take a look around! I can only imagine how much more there is to keep track of now lol so I'm happy to help you double-check.

And I'm sorry, I think I wasn't very clear about my notes. Let me show you what they look like. I keep notes on each household in a program called FlashNotes. I pulled all of the info from SimPE - their ages, personalities, jobs, hobbies, etc and then I use their interests to calculate their secondary aspirations (Lord Crump's calculator). While I do write notes on where their story is at before I move on to the next household, I'm not sure any of its helpful beyond my own need to keep track? If it turns out it is, if you wanna download the program FlashNotes (it's free), I think I can send you my database. Otherwise, I just meant I have a pretty good handle on the households so I feel confident I can help you with double-checking details.

Also, SPOILERS IN THE SCREENSHOTS for anyone else reading this. Don't click if you haven't played

With so many characters and new events, it is a job that would require months. So it will be something that I am going to tweak over time, but without beating myself up about it, since for me it is very complicated and would delay the upload too much. But I am trying to make it as good as possible. Today I'm going to spend as much time as I can reviewing family relationships and then I'll go on to kill ancestors. This way the neighborhood will be "playable" and "uploadable" and the few memories that are missing to fix, I can do it with Simpe. So your help with the test will be greatly appreciated!!! Tell me anything you see wrong, any detail always helps.

About your notes, that program seems really useful! I think I'll give it a look and ask you for your setup ^^ It's going to be very interesting to read, because Service Area and Jeans Shaker Oasis are created with everything in my head almost without takin so much notes and sometimes I forget things, but it also allows me to be more creative. But maybe starting to use programs like that can be a good way to start organizing myself better.

Yes! I can totally do this! And yeah, I can see how trying to go back over everyone's memories would take so long. That's a LOT of work. I can tell you that you've already got 99% of it correct. I think I've only seen a couple where I realized one memory should go before another. Now that I know more of the story, I think I have a better understanding of memory order so I'm happy to send you feedback.

What I like most about FlashNote is that you can set it to "Always on Top". Since I play in Borderless Windowed mode, whenever I switch to another program, it minimizes the game so I only see one program at a time. Very frustrating when I'm trying to write notes, going back and forth between programs. However, with it set to "Always on Top", it overlays the game instead. Much easier to take notes as I play when I can see the game at the same time. :D

Edit: I wanted to double-check, do you want me to review SJSO 2025 Test1 (NoCorrectNames) and SSAR 2025 Test1 (NoCorrectNames) now, or did you want me to wait for the one you're working on now?
