A question I have- is your guid from the database, or did you make it up yourself, as the guid and Group ID don't match.

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the precipitate

From now on I am making up my GUIDs.... As I do not want to accidentally overwrite any other objects.

That's a big no-no- if you make up your own guids, there's a chance that it might clash with a Maxis or custom one. Admittedly the chances are small, but it's much easier and safer to get your own guid block (set of guids) from the SimPE website.

I know that two GUIDs might collide, but I am using a special way of creating my GUIDs, so it isn't likely for an object to collide with mine.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is an "E-Ring". I don't have the slightest clue, what this Business could deal with...

Well see since its in hex, I have a few options. But I start it out with an E, since that is the first letter of my first name, and since this was business related, my next was B. Then it continued with the project number.

I was wondering when someone was going to ask this...

My birth name is Edwin Aston Ringle IV, (but everyone just calls me Eddie) but here are the key parts, Eddie Ringle

It is also the name of my site, (parts of it are still in development) www.e-ringtech.com

Hope that that explains it! : )
