Beautiful house!

Regarding your remark that deco items would disappear when downloaders don’t have the Clutter Anywhere mod, though: how recently have you tested this? I’m not very much in the loop myself (seeing as I don’t usually upload and download my own lots), but I was assuming that the disappearig stuff issue should have been taken care of by Maxis introducing the moveobjects cheat in December or whenever that was. Before that patch, the game would clean up things when it thought their footprint was too large, but it shouldn’t be doing that anymore (if it did, it would break EA’s own cheat).

@plasticbox

Just now double checked to be sure, and yep, items placed with Clutter Anywhere disappear if you don't have it installed. (I'm not super knowledgeable about this, but I thought that Clutter Anywhere dealt with the placement flag, or whatever it's called that tells the game which objects are allowed on which surfaces, and not with the footprint—so even if the game doesn't clean up too-large footprints it still wouldn't understand that those objects can be placed there?) But in any event, Clutter Anywhere items do definitely disappear if you don't have it.

(But also, it seems to me that EA has managed to break its own cheat anyway Sometimes, objects placed with MOO will disappear after you exit the game and reload the lot; if you then replace the object, exit and reload again, the object seems to stay put. If you save the lot to the Library and place it down again, you have to do the whole song and dance from the beginning. And sometimes MOO'd objects will jump to the inventory if you do something like place a staircase or move a wall—even if it's nowhere near the MOO'd object. Both issues seem to happen more or less at random )

Make sure you have "include custom content" checked while looking in the Library.

I've confirmed that the Tray files I uploaded are working: I removed everything from my Tray folder, downloaded these, and saw the house in my Library in game. Make sure you have ticked the box to "include custom content" in your Library.

Thank you for your hard work! This is such a wonderful lot.

However, I'm sadly having an issue placing it. Whenever I try to -- from the Lot Screen itself (not Manage Worlds), all of the furniture inside shifts all over the place. I've tried to go in myself and place everything back as it should be (as your photos indicated), but wound up frustrated because literally every object has moved.

Here's an example of what I'm seeing:

I downloaded the Clutter mod as you indicated, and have no other mods in my game, so I'm not sure what's causing this. My Sims game has all the expansion/game packs up through 'Get To Work' and I have all the latest updates. I even tried using the 'bb.moveobjects on' cheat before placing the lot, but it still shows up the same way.

Do you have any idea of what I could do? I'd appreciate any help.

Huh. Out of sheer desperation, I tried placing this lot from 'Manage Worlds' and now all the furniture is in place.

I swear my game always does the opposite of what's intended lmao. Sorry I bothered you.

It seems to be working fine now. Thanks again for creating this lot.

Glad you got it working.

FYI, I've heard from others that since the 1.5.139 patch (or some recent one), you need to have MOO off when placing lots to avoid the jumbled furniture. I've not tested it myself yet, so I don't know how exactly it works or what other factors are involved, but that's what I've heard.
