Well since they're slave objects for the object on the following page and share the same textures which means that recolors for the original flag pole also shows up for these (there's a file there containing 49 flag recolors)

A slave object is an object which depends on another object(Repository object) to show different color options.
This means that every color option available for the repository object will also show for every slave object - it's a way of saving time & space when creating recolors.
So you'll need to have the repository in order to use slave objects!

Just think of all the beds in the game, they share the same beddings, so they won't have to create new beddings everytime they create a new bed
