This looks fantastic! Unfortunately I wasn't able to replace the base camp. After those two cheat codes I unlocked the base camp and deleted it. I checked to ensure that the area is still set to base camp. Then I tried to put your building there but as soon as I selected it the place wasn't offered anymore. Is there any additional cheat code that I have to use beside the two cheats you mentioned?

Perhaps you should add a suitable lot in Edit World mode.

I had tried this too. Near the original base camp I created a 40x40 lot and set it to base camp after destroying the original. When I clicked to place a copy of the hotel the lot disappeared. So it was impossible to place the hotel. Did you manage to replace the original base camp?

It's possible that buydebug needs to be on, but it didn't for me while testing.

I tried this too but it made no difference. Then I started a new game to see if that's the culprit but it didn't work. Then I deleted all Twallan mods but that didn't help either.

I would like to know if anybody else got it to work to see if they did anything different. I would really love to use your hotel.

EDITED to add: I did it the other way around. I created a 40x40 lot, set it to a park and placed your hotel there. Then I used both cheats to unlock the base camp. I deleted it and then I changed the hotel to base camp. It was accepted. I visited Egypt to check it out and it works perfectly! Wahoo!!!

I think what I had to do was set the lot to "No Visitors Allowed", place the new lot, then change it to Base Camp.

Looks great! I have some questions, though. Is there a stove in the kitchen? I couldn't tell from the screenshot. Also, it looks like all of the tubs in the rooms on the far side of the building from the pool are blocked by the toilets. The space closest to the faucet end of the tub needs to be open for Sims to use the tubs. Did you play test those rooms? If they are blocked, I'm sure it's easily fixable by putting the tub on the back wall and the toilet in the corner next to the door.

Used it, love it. One of the rare lots I regularly use for the custom worlds I'm trying out! You don't need to replace the base camp with this lot. It fits an empty 40x40 (?) lot on a hill in Egypt. I didn't notice any problems without the stuff packs -- the hot tub disappears, but I needed a place to put my painting easels. (: I added a few computers for my writing Sims and bookshelves for the reading ones!

One annoyance is that my Sims eating in the front area always go to the bathrooms to clean the dishes. I wish EA stopped that sort of behavior. Stupid Sims!
