Hi. I have just installed University life, but when i try to open the game with mods active...u know... resource.cfg, it crashes. If i delete that, the game loads but with no mods. Can someone please help??!! Thanks!

Is this just a no intro for the maxis part or a total no intro? Do I still need to keep the old no intro mod in, or does this replace it?

This is great. But wouldn't this cause the game to lag for us with slow Machines?

HiG33k: replacement, you just need this mod
Vinoue: no it doesn't, it only comes into play when loading the game, not in game play and it is way faster to use this than with the logo's and video.
ellacharmed: thank you for this, that logo was getting on my nerves.

I remember when this happened the first time and I've never played any other sims games on PC besides Sims 3, I thought I was loading the wrong game, or a mod had added something and that it was corrupt, since this occurred right after I did something to my laptop. It is nice to know that nothing is wrong with my game.
Now to remove this little thing! Thanks!

Random logos getting on your nerves? Just Kill them dead with new and improved NoIntroMaxis another fine product from Ellacharmed. Accept no substitute.

Does this mod get rid of the regular intro too? Do I have to run both nointro mods to remove the video and the maxis logo?

oooohhh I didn't know the logo thing was because of the patch...I was surprised when I loaded my game and it showed up out of the blue. I immediately looked to make sure nointro was still installed, and it was...now I know what happened thanks for the mod

really? you guys obviously don't know that ea didn't create the sims games but maxis did. maxis is just owned by ea, they are not separate companies. anyway, I think maxis deserves 4 seconds of you viewing their logo for their amazing work of art. I do think this is a good mod, I'm just surprised by everyone commenting about how annoyed they are about this.
