Hi. Would you mind if I translate it into Russian?

I am definitely going to give this a try since it's different than just merely checking the CAS box for "become pregnant" and could add some fun RP to my game.

Also, I spy a Theron Shan in that screenshot. :P

I too use Theron Shan in my own game (and Jonas Balkar): https://sheikussims.tumblr.com/post...-final-revision

I love SW:TOR! Fellow Theron fans unite! My Theron is currently available in the Gallery, sans CC. I couldn't resist showcasing him, because he's such a great character. Please let me know what you think about the trait, I'm open to feedback.

Mine is in the gallery as Satele + Theron as one household along with many others, I have Malavai Quinn posted on my Tumblr since i made a custom mole for him. I'm about to test out the trait now.

Edit: there was certainly a lot of placing hands on the stomach and morning sickness, I only saw a few buffs pop up (and random emotions) but I think I may have caused the lack of responses when I turned off needs decay so I could set the game on speed 3 and leave it.

Have you checked your Sim in CAS to ensure that he’s set to “Can be impregnated” and he is in a relationship with someone who “Can Impregnate”? This trait does not override any base-game selections, and I think by default male Sims are set to “Can Impregnate”, so you would need to change this yourself during character creation. This goes the same for his partner; they will need to be able to impregnate him.

Edit: The two test conditions I have for the trait are “Can be Impregnated” and “Use toilet standing”. Both of these can be set/changed in CAS, and are required for the trait to work on your given Sim.

Hello, this is really interesting. Can I translate it into Chinese? It's just shared with other players, not for commercial use.

I love the idea behind this- however, I'm testing it in my game right now and I'm just wondering if the food poisoning moodlet is supposed to show up when the sim enters their first trimester/begins showing? I received that along with the moodlet of the biological changes, but my sim hasn't eaten any restaurant food, so... I tested this twice to see if it was just a first time glitch, but it happened again. Just wanted to know in case it's just a goof on my part or if it was a moodlet overlooked. I understand that it's not always easy to catch these things. Thanks for taking the time to create this. ^_^

I'm going to second the Food Poisoning moodlet popping up while pregnant despite not eating at any restaurants. It doesn't seem to be linked only to entering the first trimester in my case, but can pop up at any point after that. I do have Havem's longer pregnancy mod in so it may be more noticeable since pregnancy last longer.

Mostly it's the notification that pops up every time the moodlet occurs that makes it so noticeably out of place. Stomach upset would just seem normal for pregnancy and I might overlook the reason listed, but the notification popup saying it's from eating out when you didn't eat out messes with the story by drawing my attention to it. Otherwise the mod has been working great.

Overall, A+ for this trait! I've really been enjoying it and how it gives more depth and mixed emotion to male pregnancy. Thanks a bunch for making it!

It was/is an overlooked moodlet. I was unaware that it provided a "you ate at a restaurant" message (I don't have Dine Out but Food Poisoning seems like it might be a thing pregnant sims get). It was attached to getting an upset stomach from morning sickness. I've removed it - I think that was the only place I had it - and replaced the upload file, so if you re-download, it should be fixed. Thanks for letting me know!

Edit: I went through and checked all my food-related moodlets and found it a few other places. I think, now, it should really be gone. I just re-re-uploaded the fixed file. If it still occurs, please let me know and I'll go through everything again because many moodlets, I has them.

I'm glad you're enjoying it! I have fixed it - I hope, anyway. I think I only had it in one place, attached to the upset stomach moodlet. So, if you download the new file, Upset Stomach should remain but food poisoning will be gone. Sorry everyone and thanks for letting me know.

Hi ! First of all, this trait is like, the best idea ever, it makes pregnancy so much more interesting ! Thanks for making it

I've been using it for a few hours now and the experience is kind of extrem :
- due to the +8, my sim is always uncomfortable, like 24h/7 so I don't get to do a lot with him which ends up kind of bothering when playing with longer pregnancy mods :/
- due to the same thing, most of the other moodlets never show up first so I don't really get to have the whole "swinging mood" experience
- the moodlets come and go so fast I sometimes miss them and other times there are always two or three at the same time

I get that it's the point of the trait, but maybe you could consider making a less extrem version ? I'd be really happy if you do !

Thanks again either way, good luck with this

Thanks for your feedback! Right now, I'm not really considering a toned-down experience for the trait, mostly because I tested it myself quite a bit before releasing it and found if I dialed back the Uncomfortable moodlet during pregnancy, it was too easy to override what I was aiming for: something different. Overall, I find it very, very easy to keep Sims happy (inspired, focused, flirty, all the positive emotions, which can be boosted by the purchase of reward traits), and I was looking for something which made it harder - in this case, much much harder - to achieve. The mood swing part (which is random) can be aided by Uncomfortable Overhaul/Uncomfortable Changes as far as the negative goes (so you might see more sad/angry/tense/embarrassed) but the positive will still be more difficult. More like... it boosts the possibility of being able to get out of being Uncomfortable but it's not guaranteed.

To address the shortness/quickness of some of the moodlets, that's generally by design. For example, False Labor is very quick (I think... 10-15 in-game minutes?) but happens fairly often during its specific stage. I didn't want the Sim to have the moodlet for an extended period. The same can be said for moodlets like Swollen Feet or any time the Sim eats, just because of how often they occur (with eating, the Sim will get a moodlet every time, although which one they receive varies).

The multiple moodlets at once, well... that one's on me for being lazy. To be honest, this trait turned into more of a behemoth than I expected it would when I started working on it back during MCv3. To explain a bit about how the mod is coded, we have the "Mood Swings" random category which can occur... I don't remember precisely, but let's take a guess and say every 2 in-game days (at any time within those 2 days), and "Nutritional Supplements" which is, say, every 3 days, coupled with any of the trimester specific moodlets, such as "No Touchy" which I think only happens during the 3rd trimester (again, at random). Mod Constructor v4 does allow an exclusion list - if you have X moodlet, Y moodlet won't apply - but because of how many moodlets I had, I was just like... nah. So while I can exclude any of the 3rd trimester moodlets from overlapping, I just didn't want to bother with doing it for every single category (Mood Swings has over 100 re-purposed in-game moodlets in it, for example). If I'd been more precise with my component labeling (oh, hindsight), it might have been easier to achieve but I wasn't, which is why you can see multiple moodlets strike at once or overlap. Sometimes random isn't as random as I'd hoped it would be, but I decided I could live with it. I know this may not be everyone's cup of tea, as a result.

Sorry my news about a Male Pregnancy Lite version isn't what you were hoping for but I do appreciate you giving the trait a try and taking the time to tell me about your experience.

Hi! This looks interesting and I can’t wait to try it! To your knowledge, it shouldn't interfere with mc command center, right?

Can you please explain how the trait is broken for you, if it is? While it was built with a previous game version, this trait should still function perfectly fine after the latest patch.

Hi! Not sure if this is related to the new patch or not. I've noticed that non-pregnant sims with the trait seem to be getting the weird alien pregnancy belly glow animation. I've noticed it before with pregnant sims, and while a little odd isn't too crazy, but it seems weird on non-pregnant sims and I've noticed that one popping up a lot in my game post patch.

Also sometimes there's a colorful X pattern that plays out on the ground beneath the sims feet that I can't pinpoint. It looks familiar but I can't recall what moodlet it might be tied to. That one I think I've seen more of when travelling to new lots, but it hasn't happened enough to say for certain. Not really a problem since it happens so infrequently, but I still find myself wondering what it's linked to.

Anyway, I still love this mod!!!!!!!! Thanks again for making it!

The "X" pattern is due to me playing with the Ley Lines lot trait to encourage multiple births. You should only see it when your sim loads into the game or changes lots. I couldn't get the visual indicator to disappear and to be honest, I'm not 100% convinced it's working as intended as I've set it up and actually DOES impact the percentage, but I'd rather throw caution to the wind and hope it does.

I don't have Get To Work, so this means I don't actually get to see some things I've coded into the trait, but at a guess (since it happens with other moodlet sets), it's from the buff_Pregnant_Male_Idle animation. For whatever reason, the animations will trigger even if the Sim doesn't meet the test conditions to gain the moodlets associated with them. This is why there's belly rubbing going on more than is actually warranted, because, for example, Soc_Pregnancy_T_RubBelly_Succeed_Swapped is tied to several trimester's worth of moodlets, but when I'm letting my Sim be autonomous, it shows up even when my Sims aren't pregnant. That one doesn't really bother me much, since it sort of goes with the trait, but if the belly glow is troublesome (since I didn't know that's what actually occurred; I thought it was the back stretching animation that pregnant female Sims do, except for men), I can try using Buff_Pregnant_Idle instead. Give me a few days... maybe by Monday? And I'll upload a new version with the change.

Can you please provide more information about how the trait is not working for you? Being created/released on a previous patch does not automatically mean the trait is out-of-date and is currently functioning perfectly fine for me in my game.
