This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage
Default Where is my NeighborhoodTemplate folder?
I cannot find my NeighborhoodTemplate folder when I look for it. There is only one 'Res' folder and it contains a folder named 'lights' (see image). Thanks!!!

Where are you looking? It should be in your Program Files (x86)/EA GAMES/The Sims 2 (or any EP you're looking for)/TSData/Res/NeighbourhoodTemplate. If you are looking there and it isn't there, have you installed to a different location?

When a game is predictable, it's boring.
That goes for any medium that isn't life.
That's why The Sims 2 is my favourite sims game.
It has elements of unpredictability and everything feels more involved.
The Sims 4 is another story altogether...

Which one are you looking for? There are different ones for different expansions, and some expansions do not have any at all, especially if you installed the base game via double deluxe or something like that.

I am not for sure the exact way for you but for some its here:
Navigate to the following location in Finder: ~/Library/Containers/com.aspyr.sims2.appstore/Data/Library/Application Support/Aspyr/The Sims 2/Neighborhoods

I think that is just for the base game but it should get you close to which one your looking for.

I don't use Mac I am only on Windows pc to play.
