Be aware there are new game breaking bugs after the latest game update. The most severe one affects pregnancies in the game. This seems to be broken on a bigger level. It starts with not being able to take pregnancy tests.

Then you can't drag objects to the trash or sink.

Also a feature of the business and hobbies pack is broken again because the white lecture board can't be used. For PC there is a mod fix for it: https://www.patreon.com/posts/133216402

For me it doesn't make any sense to buy a sims 4 pack as the game breaks with every new patch and pack.

I was wondering why i couldn't take pregnancy tests, i thought it was some new update that only the sims that were for sure pregnant could take the test lol. Honestly? I'm not even surprised anymore. No game in history had such an amount of DLCs EVER. The sims 4's system is still the same as it was in 2014, and the packs only keep coming. Unless they finally let the game rest and stop making expansions or finally update the system, we'll be witnessing this game wheezing out it's last breath And simfluencers are useless. The game has an established reputation, it doesn't need more recognition. They're basically glorified door-to-door salesmen and saleswomen.

Actually, there is one. It is called Train Simulator. I don't what the end total is for all of the DLC, ( too lazy to figure it out) but it is literally thousands of dollars.

EA loves competition, so perhaps Maxis is using Train Simulator as inspiration. They've already mastered the DLC for DLC and microtransactions part.

Look up Real Racing 3, it's a EA owned game released in 2013, what EA is doing with Real Racing 3 is what's happening with sims 4.

I can't find anything recent about the cost of all cars but this is from someone 12yrs ago.

Does EA do the same thing with sims mobiles games?

Those sims mobile games are another rabbithole of EA's greed. There's the Sims Mobile from the time Sims 3 was around, which is one big pay-to-win crap. Then there's The Sims Mobile which is quite pleasant for an EA game, but it's full of microtransactions too. Thank you for bringing my attention to this other game. I never played car games or racing games since they were never in my area of interests. I'm not even surprised that other titles owned by EA are huge microtransactions market When it comes to them, i only bought The Sims games from them.

What's there to talk about... again? Broken feature this. Broken feature that. Annoying feature this. Annoying feature that. Lackluster feature this. Lackluster feature that. Repurposed feature this. Repurposed feature that. And fairies? Frikken fairies? Maxis cannot create enough magic fairy dust in the world to save the utter world save corruption my game, and many other players games, have been hit with. I cannot even patch for this god-awful broken patch to even dare think about getting frikken fairies as I'm too busy trying to rescue sims and lots from a corrupted save file. And Maxis want to sell me something new on top of that?!

Yeah, this is a pretty unremarkable pack, even by TS4 standards. Not the regret purchase that Horse Ranch and Batuu were, but still....This is what passes for expansion packs these days?

Honestly, not worth the price. And the world is so small. Everything in this pack is indeed beautiful, but it is still not worth the price.

The pack doesn't really expand on anything. If you're not playing as a fairy, what are you doing? I so wish they focused more on living in nature. That would actually be fine - bending natural to you will for survival. Constructing your habitat from nature, etc. Would be nice.

Edit: Also, irritated that we have glass walls but they didn’t go back and add glass walls to things with glass ceilings - especially Greenhouse Haven!

Some of you might have experienced what I did yesterday. I was trying to repair the game. Suddenly, I got a message that my game was disabled because I didn't own the stupid Nature expansion. I sent them a copy of my receipt proving I bought the game on June 12 and downloaded it on the 10th.

Crickets.

Turns out I found from Maple (something) on youtube, this is a real problem. Yep. EA broke all our games. Until they fix it I can't play my game at all. And I'm done. Accusing me of stealing software is the lowest of the low. This is the last pack I'm going to buy. I bought a new computer just for this game because I love cc. SMH and blowing raspberries in EA's general direction.

To be fair, The Sims Castaway spin-off/games are better at satisfying your needs and desires

But like seriously, from all the main like Sims series pack trailers, I’m quite not sure what this packs hold apart from sparkling fairies. Take out fairies from the trailer, what genuine does the pack entice people to buy it? Fauna and sleepin/bathing/showering in nature? That shit look way awesome to play Castaway than being Barely Enchanted by Nature pack. If they greenlight a Car pack much sooner than gatekeep them, then less people would be losing their hopes up and giving up on this game.

I like how nowadays, if you look and read at least the comment section of Snatch, you’ll see how people are displeased and “proud” of EA works. Long gone the days praising the pack and looking forward to buying for full price without regretting playing it.
