when i go into milkshape to open the file, it wont appear, can someone pleaaaasssseeee help me!

this is because you can't open a file in milkshape, you have to import it.

Ok, I don't understand, why is the tutorial to replace NPCs pointing to this one?!

You can't replace NPC if you never mod before. You need to understand how to use SimPE and how to handle the data with it.
