I've never noticed the mouth, but the eyes moves sometimes, it might just be an artistic touch though, apparently it was a fashion at some time in history to make these blinking paintings.

Oh, I didn't think of a twitching ear!
About once every ten years someone notices that he blinks, so then I switch them around and deny it all.
