Me? no I don't use a VPN, I don't know why people use them, all it does is make it harder for websites and servers or makes it impossible in some cases for websites to be able to see who, or what is using their own websites or web services. As far as I know an IP address only reveals a persons location and ISP. A TON of people use a VPN's to hide all their online activity including from crazy things like radio stations from knowing where in the planet their listeners are located, I know because I own an online radio station called The Angel Classic Rock Mix the link and directions to it are in my forum profile and signature below if you are interested.

But anyway, do you think I should hide my IP address or use a VPN, all it does is make it harder for websites like MTS to know where I am logging in from? It does not make it impossible for the American FBI or police to track me down. and it annoys me when I people use a VPN and trigger a fake IP and a fake location when they tune into my radio station, because after all they are using my service and I like to see where my biggest radio station fans are located in the world. Anyway I do know how to find out most of them, through a reverse DNS lookup, I never spy on people I just want to know some days where my biggest listeners are from in this big world.

What is your own opinion on this, am I doing a bad thing? I however never have or will look up where these people are living or exactly where their device is, I only look at what part of the world they are from

I use VPN when I'm traveling, usually for unsecured wifi connections like on airports.
