This user has the following games installed:

Sims 2, University, Nightlife, Open for Business, Pets, Seasons, Bon Voyage, Free Time, Apartment Life
Default Can I use different executable for different game version?
I was trying to install The Sims 2 base game, it worked succesfully. Now I want to patch (because mods and MTS recommended them), and I was able to patch it using Grumpy Loader.

But... I don't want to use the original game executable, as it lags a lot. Sometimes I use No-CD, which provide 'better FPS by skipping the CD check. The question is, if I have a game version 1.0.0.1022, and the No-CD version is 1.0.0.932, is it safe? Will it corrupt the game? I have tried to run the game with these config, and it kinda worked, but the Log on documents folder show that I have 1.0.0.932 (unpatched). Now that I have the weird config, is it safe to play? Or is there another No-CD that is patched to 1.0.0.1022?

I used to use the .932 executable with the patched base game a lot, and I've never experienced a single issue.

Ok, I will do that. I can do that but I was just scared that it will corrupt the game somehow.
