That Espresso machine does not work - on an owned community lot with the owner or a hired playable as a barrista, nobody orders coffee. So I am attempting to change that with a patch.
I have cloned the object and deleted all the things except the TTAB. The autonomy appears to be already set to autonomous, so I left that. In the Human Motives, what do I change to get sims to buy? I don't care what their motives are, they just need to buy. I tried setting the motives the same as the small appliance coffee machine but it does not change anything.
Help please.

That won't help, its more broken than its adverting. The only way around it that I have found is to use the hire family mod. You hire the family member of your own household and set them to barrister.

As far as I know this bug is still not fixed by any other mod. if you hire a sim or use the above hire family sims should buy coffee, but it still doesn't work well-not unless you remove every other item the place has for sale. So no ticket machine, no food for sale, only coffee.
