hello the rules are simple "NO money cheats" you must decorate your sims house within their current status budget, this means if you have been playing a specific neighborhood or sim family/household for a long time and you got some working class sims, NOT SIMS that you used the money cheat on and want to show off how you decorated their house this challenge is for you

the rules are simple "No MONEY CHEATS" all mods and custom content and sims are also welcome to be in the photo graphs as long as they are not butt naked with private parts showing somehow now it starts

simply decorate within you sims current budget if sam and betty only currently have $3,000 Simoleans extra to spend that is all you can spend, "in build or buy mode"you may delete or remove items for more money if you wish and if you can't afford anything before taking the photos just show us how the sims house or apartment looks anyway your free to do as you wish in this challenge (EXCEPT MONEY CHEATS)

just take note that saveing the game with no or low budget can cause problems with the sim Gardener and Sims Maid or Butler (etc) if you don't have enough to pay them and forgot you did this challenge and saved your game watch out for this.

At this stage, I am trying to complete my custom hood, which is taking up most of my free time. I would not mind playing this challenge later, though! It looks like fun and I think it is a good idea!

I like this idea, I'm going to have a go!

I'll be taking a part in this once my Pleasantview couple starts building their house on their lot as they won't want to delay it for too long with summer coming closer already and they also have a build on the service center to complete as well before their first colonial winter arrives in Pleasant Valley and they also have crops to harvest and food to preserve before their 17th cnetury winter arrives.

So I had a go at this, with the Gimini family.





I hope it's not too disappointing, my game is still largely vanilla since I had a huge clearout, and I am using a lot of maxis stull I had forgotten about! The first picture shows lots of blue next to the house, that's because this building is on the edge of the map (and I haven't found a desert horizon I like yet). Fun challenge @Aspersim !

I'll start with the Jankowskys in turn of the 17th century Pleasant Valley who already have nearing 60000$ in cash earned from playing on the pinball reward machines at the service center and the ones dropped off at their home by the letter carrier.I've got the Jankowskys wanting to take part in this though they'll add the challenge of spending no more thatn 10% of their cash savings at the current level on the build and furnishing for the coming winter.

This is the Nukem Family, featuring Duke Nukem and his Wife Loni Nukem and Duchess their daughter

Unlike the actually video game character this particular Sim Duke Nukem is a firefighter instead of a battle hardened military officer.

in other words my sim is only loosely based off the real fictional Duke Nukem video game character, and I get his wife name from a hidden gem found in Duke Nukem 3D the video game where Duke has a heart and arrow tattoo on his backside with the word Loni written on it, he is also a Romance Sim with a daughter named Duchess Nukem seen in one of the photos below

They are one of my poorest working class sim family/household, with only a net worth of about only 13,000 Simoleans, they live in a on the top floor penthouse of a 2 story apartment complex in Old Downtown Area Neighborhood

Duke is currently a Firetruck Driver/Operator at the time of this post in my game and works a 10 hour shift making only $530 Simolean's a day and working 4 days a week

Loni is an at home mother at the moment taking care of Duchess Nukem her and Duke's daughter. until she get older since they cannot really afford a nanny and rent as well as groceries and without endangering their current budget

But one good thing is they don't need to pay bills often because of the solar panels on top of their apartment complex and sometimes receive money for not have that many possessions from the sim government because of that.

What three seater couch is that in screenshot 12?

It's called a Suede Sofa and it cost about $500 in sim cash, I only have one color for it it is a Custom Content Sofa but I am not sure where I picked it up or downloaded it from sorry I am vary sorry to be unhelpful to you, I It might be some part of a former Maxis store content I've got in my game? but like I said I have no idea where it came from

My guess is it's probably some kind of old maxis store content since it has a description but not a CC creator name in the buy mode description and only comes in one color

@Charity Post about it in the WCIF forum, it looks really familiar to me (maybe a Silent Hill extraction or something like that) and I know I had it once, but can't remember for the life of me where I got it. But others may remember!

I've seen my Jakowsky family in Pleasant Valley end up with earning their way towards 120000$ in today's session with them after sneaking onto the reward pinball machines behind my back and I didn't catch them fist enough.They've raised the first section of wall on their house build at the end of the day.
