So I downloaded a mod that allows different types of woohoo and different locations as well so that you don’t necessarily need to have a bed for all of them. Not because I’m a pervert or anything lol, I just think it adds more realism to the game. However, the mod is uncensored and I don’t want Barbie doll sims or to add the body parts necessary to make it look more authentic, I’d rather just keep it blurred.

I was wondering if it’s possible to add the censor blur to the animations in SimPE, and if so, how? I know how to use SimPE but not well enough for this, but I’ve looked all over the web and can’t find an answer so I was hoping someone here with more SimPE experience would know, thank you!

I think it is done in BHAV of the interaction at the moments where sex starts and ends. Person data 0x1E (Censorship Flags). You can see in SimPE what each bit means. It doesn't do anything if you have patched CensorMaterial in the exe.

The pixelized cover looks crude and jarring. Reduction of detail of the body parts is more elegant.

I meant that the default models already come without anything that could be seen as indecent.

Why not just remove the no censor blur mod?

The animations for the sex mod must be set as not requiring a censor, so it wouldn't matter if they had a no censor blur mod or not.

I don’t have a no censor blur mod, everything is blurred when it should be except when the animations for this mod start, but I still can’t pinpoint where in the mod I need to go to change that.

On my computer I’ve changed the naming and descriptions so it’s more Simslike and less NSFW, but figuring out the route of how to add the blur back in is above my skill level I’m afraid.

I have that mod, but I also have a censor blur remover. I'll take a look at it though ... but it will have to be next week when I get my Sims computer back from the repairer. So, if someone else can do it quicker, please do.

Well, you still need to indicate when the private action begins and ends. Look at the toilet interaction. You set censorship flag on pelvis or body there, but don't set while using a chair.

I know where to find the animations for the mod, and I’ve checked the Bhav sections but found nothing there. It’s very plausible that I’m missing it as I don’t know what I’m doing haha, but I don’t think I’ve seen a censorship flag in actions that are censored, I must be looking in the wrong place.

Do you mean ACR? If you don't mean ACR you may want to switch as you can use blur or not, underwear or not.

ACR wouldn't do the same thing as this mod has new sex animations.

I assumed you were talking about the mosaic because I've not seen a blur in the game. Without a mod for CensorMaterial -> TensorMaterial present, I can turn on the pixelization like so:

Thanks for the help! Using your photo I was able to pinpoint where to look, but unfortunately there’s nothing about censorship flags when I look in that section of the animations. I can post photos to show one of them, but it’d be about 7 different ones, as it’s a heavily animated mod. Think I might just have cut my losses on this one.

The modder probably removed that bit of the code; you'd need to add it in again.

Ah, jeez. Any chance you or someone here knows anything about that? Would love to give it a shot if possible and take one last stab at it before cutting my losses here.

You need to insert the line of code in the appropriate place before the animation starts using the Insert via True special button. It wouldn't be there if the modder didn't consider it necessary. Make sure you turn the effect off "symmetrically" in all possible branching outcomes of the action (can't snap to slot, interaction is cancelled, etc.).

Hi, I was also looking for the same thing, I liked the mod, but I would like it to have censorship and I have no idea how to fix it using SimPE (I've already used it to change the fertility curve of the ACR, but that seems more complicated)
