I haven't played in a little while but I do remeber when I was playing reguarly, there would be an update of Origin turning into the EA app, in order to play. I am having issues with the app:

It won't download the base game
It only shows 3 games I have (base game, island paradise, showtime)
I keep getting a download error when I try to download the game.
I've restarted my computer

I'm not sure much else I can do. Has anyone else had these issues since it changed from Origin to EA? Is there a way I can have Origin instead of EA? I'm so frustrated..

EA effectively and efficiently broke the Origin version of TS3 for just about everyone on that platform with the new EA App. Then after some time passed, they fixed it. Or at least several known to work fixes are available. I haven't been following the saga very closely to be honest, but I keep sending players here and they either never come back or do so to report that the recent threads and the helpers there got their game working again.

The one in charge of that forum also has a presence at NRaas, but it's usually more efficient to get her attention on the Answers.HQ forum above if needed.
