Any tutorials on how to export Sprites of 3D objects to import into the Sims 1?
I'm trying to figure out how to make custom objects for the sims 1 but all the tutorials have been confusing for me, but the one thing I'm confused on is how to make the sprites for the models im trying to import into the sims 1.

I know that sims 1 using images/spirtes for the objects, but is there any plug in to blender or milkshape that lets me take images of the object im trying to import into the sims 1 from the right angles that the sims 1 sprites are supposed to be taken from? (im not sure if that question made sense but i hope you all understand what im saying.

Also, if you know of any current tutorials on how to make a new object for the sims 1, please link those here too. i only found the one on how to recolor the green flamingo but im looking to do more than that...

PLEASE HELP!

There's a series of tutorials that teach people how to make new objects for The Sims 1 by someone with the unlikely name of Bunny Wuffles. :-) You can find those at http://bwsost.woobsha.com/.

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

Heather Castillo -- the owner of the SimFreaks website -- has a tutorial at https://simfreaks.com/tutorials/objects/objects.php; she also recommends a program called Rhino to help design objects.

There was also the mythical Max9 plugin, but I could never find it. Kate at Parsimonious possessed it apparently, but never followed through (to me) on a promise to share it. Best I had was a MAX file with the proper isometric view saved. I would use that, along with a tweaked version of the lighting rig that was in that file to make my renders and export my A's. I really, REALLY wanted that plugin so I wouldn't have to make Z's anymore. **SIGH**

We in Russia had a thing named the "3D Max script" that (as far as I understand) made all the sprites including A's and Z's, but it was made for 3D Max 5 in 2003 and I'm not sure that it works for later versions. One person, Corruptia, who was on TL also, said that it worked for her 3DS Max 2018, but she disappeared soon after that and I never had a chance to ask for details. Another person told me that it didn't work for his newer version of 3D Max. I'm not a creator, so I can't test it myself unfortunately.

Yep, that's the one I was talking about.

If you can ever track Corruptia down or find a copy of that script, let me know. I have Max9 and Max2013.

No problem, Chik, I have it. Here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/t...ugin_McHain.rar
I'm just not sure that it's the same thing that Kate had because it was created by a Russian simmer and the link was posted on a Russian forum.

I know Maxis released a plugin for Max 9 a long time ago, I've used it to render objects myself. Is that what you're looking for? https://maxplugins.de/max9.php?search=maxis&sort=Author

I don't think that's the one I had. I'll have to take a look at it and see. Thank you either way.

And thanks, Nastya. I'll give that one a try too!
