Default "Hibernating" sim?
I wanted to try a challenge where a child Sim lives alone. Is there a hack to make an adult Sim "hibernate"? As in, making it exist on the lot but staying out of the way? This may be a long shot but I thought it was worth asking! Thanks

Use can use the Please Yourself Plant from Simlogical to keep the adult's needs at maximum, turn free will off, then just have the adult go stand out of the way.

I've made some mods for The Sims 1 -- yes, The Sims ONE :-) -- which you can find at http://corylea.com/Sims1ModsByCorylea.html

Unlike the later games children can live alone in Sims 1. From the wiki.

Unlike later games, it is possible for children to live alone and function without any adults present in the house. However, they would have to rely on good grades, painting, or cheats to keep simoleons flowing in. They would also have to rely on ordering pizza, having a Servo, or having a buffet table and hiring a caterer in order to eat anything other than snacks.

While children can get bills from the mailbox, they cannot pay them, thus in order to prevent the Repo-man from appearing, the move_objects on cheat would have to be used to delete the mail carrier before she places the bills in the mailbox.

So you could move out (by someone in another house asking them to move in) or kill the adult.
