Last year I transferred my hard drive and updated my graphics card and in doing that, it messed with my game graphics (got the purple soup and had to use a mod to fix everything) everything got worked out except my cursor. Let me preface that when I say white it is not the white cursor you'd see with the Windows OS. It the same Sims cursor but the palette is white and the colors are translucent.

I've dug through game settings and asked people and no one seems to know a fix. Is this a common problem at all and if so, is there a fix? The good news is that the cursor is functioning, so if there is no fix, at least the game works. (My game has gone through so much yet it's survived it all )

Is there any way you can take a picture of the cursor? (I think some screenshot programs let you capture the cursor). It's easier to see what the problem is with a picture.

I'm assuming you don't have any UI default replacements? (or if you do, which one/s?)
There are some that change pretty much every UI item, including the cursor. Wouldn't be surprised if there's one that causes htis to happen.

It looks normal except the transparency, so a bit weird, but it looks more like a cosmetic issue than anything.

Windows has settings for see-through UI elements, so I'd almost be tempted to think something had gone a bit wonky there, but it shouldn't affect the game cursors.
