Even when removing Simler90's aspiration failure mod, Meduza's desperation mod, and most other mods that I could think of that affect aspiration failure/desperation, Sims still do not do these animations anymore.

I cheat their aspiration to fail with InSimenator, or just put them in the red, and they still choose to look out a freakin' window before they will do these animations, such as "Worry" "Cry" and all of the aspiration-specific animations.

Is there some kind of MATY mod that I am unaware of that causes this to happen or is my game just broken?

I miss my Sims showing me how depressed they are .... Can anyone suggest anything? thank you!

Um..not sure what youre asking. I don’t use RPC and I use Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer for lots

I mean you use ultimate collection? Origin? or Legacy?

I did a binary search and this is BAFFLING. I would take out a chunk of mods (alphabetically so Pa - Po for example) and then the animations would happen. I would half those mods, eventually putting them all back. And get no closer because what should happen is that the animations should happen when I take out the culprit. This did not happen lmao

SOLVED. The culprit is Simler90’s Immaturity Mod which I may have tweaked.

there is a BHAV called “Function-Should I Do Deviance?” in Globals that evidently codes for the desperation animations which I dont get bc those actions are desperation not deviance
