Default Changing the gender of an accessory?
Hello!

I'm trying to change the gender of an accessory from af to am. I did find some very old post mentioning that I should change the gender from 0x00000001 to 0x00000002 in "Property Set". However I can't seem to find the right file to change... I guess? I did try to change the gender in the CPF Editor, but every time I open up the file again, it resets itself back to 0x00000001. So, that's clearly not what I'm supposed to do. I'm a little lost. I added a screenshot of the files that I have when I open up the package file itself.

If someone can provide some basic explanation for a dummy(me), it be greatly appreciated :P

Go to the Mesh Overlay resource, find "Gender", and change to the gender you want (1=female, 2=male, 3=both). Click "commit" and save.

The "Mesh Overlay" resource is the same type of resource for accessories as the Property Set is for clothes and hair. For makeup and such, it's called "Texture Overlay" instead.

Just make sure the accessory can be changed to the other gender - If the accessory is for the head/face, or is body-tight, it's possible it needs repositioning to work (additional mesh). Accessories for holding in the hand are usually fine. Teen/adult/elder need remeshing for genders. Elders can use the same face/head/hand accessories as adults, but for body-tight accessories you might need a remesh.
