Default Sorting multiple downloads
Anybody know a good way to Edit out multiple Variations of a Single download?

Using some Statues as an Example.
Each object (of 5) has about a dozen colors, some ugly, some almost identical. Five would be Plenty.
The descriptions are just random numbers that don't show up in any pictures, and not in any matching order.
The PackClean graphics are too vague or similar.

I tried a method I heard about, Editing them out on a Lot, Saving it as a File and Opening it with PackClean.
That didn't work, all the versions still showed up, back where I started.
I hate having to list 150 downloads when I only want about 25.

Any help or Ideas?

Clean Installer may be able to help.

Depending on how much CC you have, and whether you want to clean out meshes or just recolors, the GUID scanner in SimPE can be of help. It can search through and find duplicatefiles + potential GUID conflicts. Not sure if it finds duplicate recolors, though.

If you use the Clean Installer method, you need to make sure you remove all the files manually from the Downloads folder. I think the CI only shows the files, it doesn't delete them from the Downloads folder. You can see the filenames in one of the columns to the right. When you search for files in a folder, as long as they have identical names, you should be able to find them.

You can view recolors in Clean Installer (preview window, only the texture), and remove them by searching for the filenames.

Another option is SimPE - you can open the files to look at the textures (TXTR resource) to see if you want them or not.
