Default Combining TS2 hip hop genre & TS3 "rap" genre on the TS3 stereo (also TS1 stereo music for TS3 stereo)
A while back, I asked if there was a way I can have Sims 2 stereo soundtrack mod that can be in my Sims 3 game, and you guys introduced me to this download so thank you guys for that help on that post.

However, I noticed that the TS2 "hip hop" playlist/genre & TS3 "Rap" playlist/genre are two different genre on the pie menu when I click on the stereo. Is there anything that can be done to combine the two playlist/genres into a singular either "hip hop" or "rap" playlist/genre when I click on the stereo?

Also, while I'm at it, does anyone know where I can download TS1 stereo music for TS3 stereo? I notice that TS2 pop music sounds more like late 2000's early 2010's "pop" music, & was hoping to be able to have music that resembles late 90's early 2000's pop music in my TS3 game stereo playlist.

Hmm, no answer so far. Would this be considered a big ask? 😅

(I forced myself offline for a bit because the news was making me have blood pressure issues)

Do you have access to the mp3 files for the Sims 2 soundtrack? If so, you can add the Sims 2 hip hop station to the Sims 3 rap station with Broadcaster. The same goes for the Sims 1. The soundtrack for the Sims 1 is available through archive.org (hopefully linking to this is okay under the site rules since it isn't an official soundtrack).

I only have the download from this link:

Would i have access to the MP3 files in that download?

Also, as a side note, sorry to hear about your blood pressure issues from the news. I guess these days, a level head is more important than ever lol

It doesn't look like it contains the original mp3 files. I found where someone uploaded the complete Sims 2 soundtrack over on Reddit- the linked Google drive has the hip hop station as disk 10.

Edit: The uploader is fighting me. But yeah, they can. Go to the Reddit link, download album 10, then open the files in Broadcaster. From the drop down menu, pick a station (rather than make a new one). You can also flag it as a station people can workout to.

Works like a charm!! Thanks!

EDIT: For the record, regarding the reddit link you posted, it includes the soundtrack from all the other TS2 expansion packs yeah?
