When I have a sim try to 'Find own Place' on a computer I always get the
'Write own Novel' screen with the Covers and Plotline pictures.
Then when I have them use the Newspaper to move out, it works fine.

An annoyance, I'm not going to rip out 1000s of cc to find problem,
but maybe someone knows a Simple solution? Thanx.

It sounds like a mod conflict that messes with the pie menu, potentially a translation issue.

If you're running Legacy, it could be an idea to check if the same happens without CC/mods (backup game, pull out everything, check in a new neighborhood).

If the problem goes away without mods, your best bet is probably 50/50.

50/50 can be very helpful with finding a bad file - especially if you have a case of either/or (the problem is present if the file is there, and goes away if the file is pulled out). You can narrow down further by first pulling out likely irrelevant items, such as CAS and build - would test buy items just to be sure something didn't sneak in.

Only you can find the cc causing issues in your game.

Had 6 cc mods involving Writing Novels.
2 were for changing Covers/Plot pictures.
Took them all out, problem solved.
Will gradually put them back to find Culprit.
Am guessing is Covers/Plot mods.
