How to open and export FreeSO's remeshed objects from TS1 to .obj (1t2)
Hi,
I discovered that people in the Sims Online community are doing remeshes of the original 2D models from The Sims 1 into 3D models. And since I didn't find all conversions of those models to Sims 2 I would do it myself but first I need a hint on how to do it from someone who knows things around FreeSO/Simitone/OpenSO. Vulcanic should be the editor for the .fsom format but since FreeSO and Simitone are dead, I managed to open Volcanic via OpenSO but all it did was load the game, not an editor.

So can someone give me a hint on how to open .fsom format so I could export it to .obj or .3ds or something I am able to open? Let it be Milkshape, Wings 3D, Blender, 3ds Max..

Those are the remeshes I am talking about by the way: https://github.com/riperiperi/FSO.Remeshes/releases

Or if someone knows someone who already converted all of the items into readable format (or even a ready to use download for TS2) I am fine with that! But I do not mind doing the packages myself, I just need the 3D models because they look great and it would take me a lot of time to do them myself from scratch.

Thank you for any help!

Solved - Cloude helped. Apparently FreeSO is still usable for this purpose, all I had to do was go in Sandbox Mode and then the Volcanic.exe opens.
