Default PackClean Ghost Lots
A while ago I had a Post that sidetracked into
using Sims2 PackCleanInstaller to edit Sims Neighborhood Characters.
I mentioned how 'Packaged Ghosts' piled up.
Don't want to go there now.

This time I tried using PackCleanInstaller to edit the Neighborhood Lots File.
I was surprised how well it worked.
I had 'Ghost Lots' I thought were long gone that still had Lot files.
Could see the name and picture very clearly, easy to sort.
Picked the ones to edit out and simply moved to a Scrap Folder for holding.
Ran the Game and it seemed to work Fine, No Glitches.
Eliminated about 25% of the files, cleaned about 90MB of space, 1st try.
(Oops... moved some active households, can't move back. Turned into townies)

I had never heard of anyone trying this before.
Any known problems or consequences?
Any 'Wows' or comments?
Be like the 22nd elephant with heated value in space, bark!

Great way to mess up your neighbourhood! Don't try it unless you have a safe backup, and even then- don't try it. Everything in the hoods and characters folders are referenced in the neighbourhood file, so you should edit the neighbourhood as a whole. Sims2Pack Clean Installer is not suitable for this task.

Glad I asked the Question.
Not so Happy about the Answer.

Thought I was on to something,
It Seems like its playing alright.

Put a Backup of the Hood back in.
Think I'll just play both of them,
see what happens to the modded one.

Thanx.
