Gmax and Sims 1

Hi, I seem to recall that Gmax (a free version of 3DS Max) had some modding packs made for different games. I seem to recall such a pack was made for The Sims too, which allowed to render Sims-like quality sprites for The Sims 1. Can someone remind me if this is true or if it's just my imagination?

I know for sure that such a thing was created many years ago for 3D Max 5, but it was made by a Russian person and posted on a Russian forum, so I'm not sure that anybody outside Russia knew about it and used it.

I don't know about GMax but I know Maxis released a plugin for 3ds Max 9 for The Sims Online: https://maxplugins.de/max9.php?search=maxis&sort=Author
