The most quirky was the dada rock song by Henge . It's quite unortodox genre and probably a few ever hear of it in the mainstream.

I like their music from the 1960's and into the mid-1970's. Then, during Dicso, they went Full Retard. One should never go Full Retard, as it is a condition that has been postulated about only in theory and doing so might cause a rupture of the space-time continuum.
Also, one might want to open the door and let one's dog leave the room before playing today's earworm.

Today's Earworm

I'm on and off on this song. They sound like they were breathing helium before performing this - maybe that's why they call themselves Bee "Geese".

That's a sign of maturing musical tastes.
The Edith Piaf song is another.

The Immortals - "Mortal Kombat"
Impossible to find by the "lyrics" until someone pointed me to the music. I found this included with a gaming magazine.

After the white. After the white. Wohaaahahaah! Fight! Excellent. Jayno. Novocaine. (I'm OK.) Raiden. Johnny Change. Scorpion. Sub Zero. Soldier. Wohaaahahaah! Fight!

Adam Clayton & Larry Mullen - "Theme From Mission: Impossible"
Oo-oo-oooooh, Oo-oo-oooooh, Oo-oo-oooooh, O-ooh.
Uhh-uhh aah-ahh, uhh-uhh aah-ahh. Uhh-uhh aah-ahh, uhh-uhh aah-ahh.
Dmmmm. T-d-d-dmmm, t-d-d-dmmm, t-d-d-d-d-dmm.

A little break from the modern music with this classical masterpiece...
Peer Gynt, Op. 23, Act IV: Prelude. Morning Mood (BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra)

It's really calming and it's somehow a good background audio for funny videos btw.

This is not a cat video! It's a perfectly legit cover of a music video which satisfies the stated purpose of this thread.

The River of Stars CD, by the New Age band '2002'. It's arguably their best CD, but not by a longshot, since I think all 11 of their earlier CD's are stunning and I have all but the Christmas one - bah.
Actually, I've got 6 of their CD's on my CD changer.
Check out their YouTube channel, which appears to have all their CD's uploaded.
Their newer CD's, after 2009's 'A Word in the Wind', include their now-adult daughter and feature celtic-type music, which doesn't appeal to me.

Luigi Boccherini, 1780: ""The piece is absolutely useless, even ridiculous, outside Spain, because the audience cannot hope to understand its significance, nor the performers to play it as it should be played."

Vacuum - "I Breathe"
I breathe clouds beneath my window. Uh-huh.
I seek rockets in the sky.
I feel satellites in limbo. Mm-mmhh.
I breathe oxygen up high.
Wow, wow, wow, wow. Uh-huh.. huh.. huh..

I load lead inside my engine, lead and alcohol.
On the radio depending, I sign the protocol.

Snap! - "The World in My Hands (We Are One)"
I played too much Half-Life 2, and I found this to be similar to a Combine Tren in a futuristic blue setting after the player escapes Nova Prospect.
