I haven't downloaded these sims yet, because when I do download sims, I can't ever find them. I use the Clean Installer to install them and follow the directions carefully, but don't know how to find them. Any advice?

Where are you looking to find them? You have to go into Create a Sim> click to make a new sim> make sure it's set to the right gender> then look for them in the bin (which looks like 2 rows of 3 sims side-by-side above the place you enter their name)
