Born To Die - Paradise Edition by Lana Del Rey.

Me, me, me against them, me against enemies, me against friends, somehow they all seem to become one, a sea full of sharks and they all smell blood.

Because of all the feels.
Or The Pale Emperor by Marylin Manson, or a few others. But I think these two rank as my top 2.

Ahhh, old Linkin Park was the soundtrack to my pre-teen/teenhood. (man I was an angry, antisocial teen )
The first album I bought was Hybrid Theory. God, I loved that CD.

But my favourite? My soul changes too often to have one favourite!

Right now it would be "1950" by Amedeo Minghe. Me and my partner listen to it almost everyday, generally while we make dinner, but sometimes just in the morning, or before bed. (we don't speak Italian, but the music is fantastic and his voice is hypnotic)

In the past it's been as varied as "CexCells" by Blaqk Audio, to "My Winter Storm" by Tarja Turunen, to "Dysfunction" by Staind, to the soundtrack from "The Queen of the Damned"

Either Rosenrot by Rammstein or Medazzaland by Duran Duran. Don't make me choose

So hard to choose just one. I think I have to say Destroyer by KISS. I was gonna list something else, but seeing the user name Staarchild just triggered thoughts of KISS since Paul Stanley's character within KISS is The Starchild. Several of their top songs are on that album, and it's one I've always loved so I'll go with that.

Absolute favorite goes to Geogaddi by Boards of Canada. I used to listen to that album multiple times a day back in early high school and it's still an unmatched piece of electronic psychedelia to this day for me.

Other top tier albums would be:
Call of the West - Wall of Voodoo
Q: Are We Not Men? A: We Are DEVO! - DEVO
Music for the Next Millennium - Omni Trio
Bricolage - Amon Tobin
Last American Hero - James Ferraro
VIVIsect VI - Skinny Puppy
Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, & Jones Ltd. - The Monkees
The Age of Plastic - The Buggles

Just riding the bump train here

Choosing one favorite is impossible IMO, but I'll just list my current favorites;

Akhlys - Melinoë
Misþyrming - Algleymi
(Black metal) I'm lumping these 2 together because both albums just have a bleak atmosphere while still being melodically beautiful.

Blackbraid - Blackbraid II
Native American Black Metal with themes about nature and spirituality with Native instruments being woven into it as well.

Deafhaven - Lonely people with power
Blackened Shoegaze bleak vocals but hopeful melodies.

Hypocrisy - The Arrival
Melodic Deathmetal about Aliens. That's it.

Shadow of Intent - Primordial
Halo themed Deathcore which set a new bar for Deathcore composition.

Napalm Death - Apex Predator
Grindcore to spazz out to.

Slice the Cake - Odyssey to the West
Melodic Deathmetal storytelling

Los Espíritus - Gratitud
Argentinian Psychedelic rock

Aesop Rock - ITS, The impossible Kid, Skelethon, Spirit field guide.. (I can't choose)
Lyricism, lyricism, lyricism beats and flow right up my alley.

Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats - Blood Lust
Modern fuzz sounding like it came straight from the 60/70's

If you gaze long into a void, the void also gazes into you...
And might stick its tongue out

That's like trying to choose between your own children.
Anyways,

Only by the Night by Kings of Leon - Their perfect album, in my opinion. Best enjoyed at a summer party with your booze of choice.
Babel by Mumford & Sons - My biggest guilty pleasure album. Basically half of my personal soundtrack when I played Minecraft in the mid-2010's.
Singles by Future Islands - Trance synthpop bliss. Brings me back to getting into The Sims through 4, at release.
The entire Sims 1 Soundtrack by Jerry Martin and Marc Russo - No explanation needed.
The Ultimate Bobby Darin - The best male jazz and big band singer of all time (in my opinion -3-).
Keep It Going by Mad Caddies - A sublime blend of reggae and Californian ska-punk. Thank you Sims 2 Bon Voyage for introducing me.
Open Mouth, Open Heart by Destroy Boys - Californian garage punk that balances thrash and chill quite nicely. Always makes me think of the Mexicali lich girl who got me into that band, and indirectly saved my life.
Business as Usual by Men at Work - Do you come from a land down under?
Man @ Work by Colin Hay - He can both hard carry a solo album and record the best version of 'It's a Mistake'.
Room for Squares by John Mayer - Core early childhood album. Extremely nostalgic for the sound, and highly appreciative of the lyrics as an adult (except for 'Your Body is a Wonderland' I don't even- wha-).
Come Away With Me by Norah Jones - Also core early childhood album. My favorite contemporary, maybe even all-time, female jazz vocalist.
Seal II by Seal - Another core early childhood album. Legendary dance album with lyrics that reach for the heart and soul.
A Great Big Western Howdy! by Riders in the Sky - Toy Story 2 stealth-introduced me to them as a babby, Fallout: New Vegas and my growing appreciation for western music helped me rediscover them.
Grounded by Worth Fighting For (it's an EP, but these guys only ever released two EPs as far as I know)
